Ring in the new year within the gorgeous detail of the recently renovated Langos building located at 520 E. District Avenue in the up and coming area of Dockside!

EgoTrip provides the most engaging light system ever displayed with a triple threat rotation above the main dance floor. Fondly dubbed The Visitor for it's alien design which moves to coordinate gorgeous LED lighting with the tone of music.

Duci wouldn't be able to thank Peaches enough for providing the best way to ring in the New Year. Before the evening got off to a heavy start she was sure to find the proprietor and smother her in a hug and cheek kisses. Maybe a few bottles of classy champagne was gifted, too, not that she needed any.

The blonde lost herself in a sea of bodies, swayed by the heavy tide of music from each vicinity she she found herself buoyed in. While she didn't often indulge in letting herself, tonight she did. She wasn't Duci, she wasn't anyone but a girl having a good time. Shaking her tail feather with eyes mostly closed so she could feel the euphoria of the atmosphere didn't leave much room for talking when she kept herself heavily inundated with drinks.

It should come as no surprise that she favored the Cotton Candy Cosmo tonight.

A New Years Eve party at the Grand Opening of EgoTrip" There couldn't possibly be a better way to kick off her vacation in Rhy'Din! Spending the night testing out the drink specials with her sister Sofiya, she took particular interest in the Cerulean Citrus Champagne, which she spent the rest of the night drinking those puppies and going for a sparkling shimmer of sweat from dancing the night away.

When that clock struck midnight, she grabbed the closest person to her and gave them one hell of a kiss to bring in the new year. Unfortunately, she had no clue who they were. Man' Woman' If they had a date of their own" Perhaps she should've cooled it on the champagne....Oopsies!

(If you'd like to play off Nattie's impulsive kiss moment, feel free to! Kick up some drama, have your character get kissed by a strange woman, whatever the motive. I'm open to it.)

Carmen couldn't pass up the chance to hit up a club opening for a little shameless self-promotion. To any interested parties she'd pass out business cards to her store Blush. She wasn't obnoxious about it, though her fiber optics dress that 'listens' to the music and pulsed in time undoubtedly turned at least a few heads. All credit to the designer Rachael Reichert, and promises of an upcoming Blush line of fiber optic wear in time for the upcoming music festivals.

While she stayed away from the liquor herself, she danced at every opportunity and took every chance to make new acquaintances.

At the last moment, Lucy decided that the gold, sparkly shorts really were the best of her outfit options (thank you Jewell!). She mass-texted everyone in her phone offering rides in her limo for the night in case anyone needed a pick-up and eventually found her way over to celebrate the New Year at EgoTrip!

She was determined to dance and drink and party all night—-and maybe make some bad decisions...

Yas was very excited to go to the opening of EgoTrip. Her agent was in the process of securing her a guest DJing gig there once a month and she viewed this as a mini-interviewing opportunity. Deciding that she wanted to look her best, she contracted the WHAM! 101.1FM public relations or whatever-she-was to help her select the best possible outfit. The woman told her to pick one thing to wear and she would pick out the rest of the ensemble. Yas promptly picked out a pair of heels and gave them to the woman for an inspiration piece. Despite the challenge, the woman picked out an outfit to highlight the red-purple onions, lime green lettuce, and cheddar cheese yellow from Yas's hamburger themed heels.

Of course Yas was going to have to pick up a Cerulean Citrus Champagne. The drink looked like it was made for her! After the past year's BoozeFest, it wouldn't be the first time. Although she would be happy to get her dance and her booze on most of the night, a bit before the New Year rang in, she'd sneak out to meet Michi to give her a good luck kiss at midnight.

Salvador braved the tight crowds of such a wildly public event with the help of being pretty permanently attached to Cane. Drugs might have also played a factor in his enjoying himself. Though he never left the Cajun's side and stayed in physical contact with him at all times, the dastardly duo at least snuck in a hello to Jewell, Sabine and Josiah, and paid tribute to Peaches, congratulating her on a job well done with this grand opening. The pair drifted on and off of the dance floor, dancing only with each other and taunting anyone who might watch with just how untouchable they were. Immediately after midnight, mid-kiss, the two of them vanished into thin air.

Unexpectedly back in town for the next few nights, Ketch took Lucy up on her offer of limousine transportation. After all, a night out with Lucy was a more appealing prospect than the pile of mail and bills spilling off the side of his kitchen counter. While he wasn't exactly a prime candidate for the club scene these days, any endeavor by Peaches held some allure, so he did his best to dress the part. This included suspenders, of course"and for her generosity with the transportation, Lucy got a free pass to snap them all she wanted to.

A few other things Lucy got: a double-take from the shifter once he spotted those glittering gold hot pants, as well as some inappropriate (but highly appreciative) cursing.

Once they arrived at the venue, Ketch stuck close to Lucy for a while as she mingled, then drifted off on his own to get a drink and sightsee. He flirted shamelessly with Duci, as was only natural, cornered Sabine and Josiah for a few minutes so he could thank Sabine for the Christmas gift of suspenders and also question her regarding the habits of cows in heat per the cross-stitched wall art she'd given him. He was also certain to give Peaches a healthy serving of looks, at least one drink, and a kiss that was as only as tasteful as she wanted it to be.

By the time the hour closed in on midnight and Ketch was properly liquored up, he attempted to coax Lucy onto the dance floor. If they were still in each other's company when the midnight hour struck, Lucy would probably find herself on the receiving end of a midnight kiss attempt. It was a custom after all, right"

With an infectious smile and a warm laugh, Jezebel may have arrived alone but she wouldn't stay that way for long. She mingled readily, made conversation easily, and danced with all who were amenable whether she'd met them before or not. When there was no one to dance with, she danced alone, twisting sinuously to the beat as she lost herself in its rhythm.
