The Pathway:
To begin the trip to into woods, guests will be picked up in horse-drawn sleighs near the Seaside Baronial Manor where Senior Baroness Whitevale is in residence. Transportation will be arranged for those that cannot get there. The sleighs, available for couples or larger groups, will be driven along part of the main road and northeast into the woods. Snow and icicle covered trees lit by the light of the winter moon and some help from the faery folk line the sides of the road. A few homes with candles flickering in the windows are set to welcome any travelers in need of refreshment on the way to the Ball or accommodations afterward. Where the road ends and the driveway begins is an open gate with an archway covered in ivy vines and holly. A mistletoe wreath hangs from its center adding to the feeling of warm and romance. When the driveway ends, a set of stairs leads to a formal walkway and bridge over a frozen pond. Those that wish to ice skate are invited to take part during the course of the evening. At the foot of the staircase is a sleigh packed with gift bags for those attending.
