Morgan's hands were clasped in front of her as the wood worker finished carving the lettering into the thick, rich colored mahogany door. His rough hands scraped the carving tool to the wood, gently scraping out tiny flaws in the lettering.

As Morgan put it, "Sweet Jesus was looking down on her". How extraordinary was it that she was able to find an affordable and suitable building structure " as well as a decent staff" Her many-a-prayers had been answered and Morgan swore to never put off her Hail Mary's or Our Father's ever again. In fact, since buying the shop, Morgan's rosary hasn't been anywhere but in her pocket or in her hands.

Greens eyes were alight on the cozy shop before her. Granted, the shop looked more like a little cottage than a business, but that simply added to the appeal. The place had a warm, loved, cozy feel to it. The vine covered stone walls were cool to the touch from the outside, but once you stepped through the big wooden front door, you were greeted with a blast of toasty warm air. The main room is quite spacious, hard wood floors with the counter to the right. Various shelves lined the walls for holding breads and homemade jams, jellies and preserves. A refrigerated case held different kinds of butters; both flavored and regular. All along the counter and behind hung wire frame racks containing spices, dried and fresh fruits, and bagels of every flavor you can imagine. The middle of the room consisted of tables and chairs ; also along the back wall was a small cove containing a couch, coffee table and a lamp. The entire left wall held the display cases. A narrow walk way was just behind the display counters to give the staff easy access to the chocolates and other desserts, as well as the homemade ice cream. Most of the specialties, however, were made on the spot for the customer. Of course there was the giant kitchen which was through a door located behind the main counter, but no one could see inside unless they managed to peek inside of the door. Which is impossible for non-staff, so don't try it.

"Ma"am?" Morgan looked up to find the wood carver packing his tools. "Yer all set. 'sa mighty fine place you got here. When do you open?"

"We opehn t"mourrowh."

"Well good luck, Ma"am. I might have to stop by and try some of the stuff you advertise."

"Wehll, lad, Oi'd louve t' see you agaihn." She smiled. "Mah husban' toohk caer ov" your bill?"

"Yes Ma"am, he did." The wood carver tipped his hat and stooped to pick up his tool box. "You have a right fine day. And don't you worry; I'll be back for s"more of that good cobbler you made earlier today for the guys."

Waving goodbye, Morgan watched him amble down the street until he disappeared around a corner. Taking a deep breath, Morgan stepped towards the door and ran her fingers over the carved letters.
