DJ Zazzy Yas blasts over the airwaves to anyone tuned in to 101.1 WHAM! "I apparently have to say that anything I am about to say is my opinion only." There is a short pause as she looks to the producer who is staring at her through the soundproof glass in her radio studio with his arms crossed. He gives a nod and she continues in her energetic voice, "Ok, now to the good stuff. Now for those of you who missed the election debates this year, I got the juiciest gossip about-" There was another pause and she continues slowly this time, staring back at the man behind the soundproof glass, "I mean, I have my opinion on what was said during the thing. "Anyway"
The host, Mr. Dib Jaster Aurene opened with the opening introductions. Poor Audrey Horne was sick at home, so her wife, Magenta came in her place. Fionna Helston and Kruger Allen were there, though. Questions hit topics of interspecies marriage, organized crime, animal abuse " don't ask, The Watch, and about our local schools and libraries. They ended with their closing statements about their platforms, but I don't know why since none of them were wearing any platform shoes, but they're nice to talk about I guess. Let's break the evening down, shall we"
In the opening remarks, Magenta gave an eloquent speech about her wife, listing her "business sense and youthful ideals", as well as that she still remembers what it's like to be a newcomer here, giving her extra perspective. Fionna started out by cutting down her two running mates. She said that the role of governor "is a serious job, not one to be undertaken by dilettantes or by those who would wield their power like a hammer." Now, that remark about a hammer had to be a direct blow to Kruger, the blacksmith. But why compliment Audrey as a debutante, when she goes on to insult Magenta by saying, "I wish Ms. Horne were present." Like Magenta isn't good enough to talk to' Who doesn't love Magenta" Kruger, in turn, said simply, if you like things they way they are, keep voting for the Governor Helston. Sounds like solid logic to me.
The first question of the night was "What is your current stance on undead interspecies robot marriage?" No cool news to report here, as all the candidates seem to support love in all its many forms. Magenta wins that question in my book with her response, "Well, I guess I'd suggest they live together for a few months first just to figure out what fits where" I mean that's always a good idea..." I tend to agree. I always enjoy a good fit myself" What' What' I didn't say anything. Don't look at me like that behind your glass window" Ok, so apparently, I need to have another talkin" to, so listen to this and I'll be back after a short break. And don't forget to check back this evening and every evening up until the election. I'll be playing the direct recording from the election debate transcripts for "unbiased coverage" of the debate cuz Reilly Recording wanted to be able to cover their a——
The sound cut outs and "Everybody Talks" by Neon Trees begins to play.
