Aja smirked. The pink bow made her giggle. The sales lady surely thought her a little nuts. But Aja didn't care about that.

The dress without the pink bow was perfect for knockin' Padriq off his feet. And the pink bow...well, that was her own little salute to Pinky. Pink haired bastard, as Alec called him.

"I'll take it." Aja smiled to the sales girl. "Very well, Maam."

Maranya deliberated long and hard over the gowns and other formal attire in her closet. She had already decided to wear the jewels that her fianc" Alper had gifted her with on the day of their engagement barely a little over a week ago. That, plus the emerald and diamond ring that her fianc" Antonio had given to her, was the icing on the cake.

But what cake to ice?

Finally, she decided on a gown that was exquisitely designed for her by Koy. Yards upon yards of gleaming white silk were overlaid with white silk lace, reimbroidered with platinum threads.

Maranya smiled with satisfaction. Franco might well snark about the fact that she wore white, but she knew that she looked spectacular in it. And that was all that mattered to her.

Perfect.

Alper was used to Duci doing his tuxedo shopping for him, so he felt at a loss for what to wear to Marc Franco's Children's Center party. Luckily, Juliana was yet another fashion goddess. She came into his office mid-morning, knocking softly.

"Excuse me, sir, but I am due to pick up a suit for Theodore....would you like me to see if I can find something for you, as well"" she offered.

He looked up from his screen to smile gratefully at Juliana. "I would love that, thank you." Then adding, "Could you please pick up a pink orchid corsage for Maranya, please?"

Juliana grinned wryly. "Of course, sir. She knew just how to celebrate the evening.

Juliana knew his tastes were mild but expensive, and she chose a very simple semi-casual suit for him. He was grateful, Alper had called him near tears with laughter that Juliana had bought him a white suit with pink pinstripes and a pink fedora. Theodore couldn't help but laugh along with him. Better you than me, he thought to himself.

With a sigh, the elfess pulled her only other evening gown out of her closet. She would have to get a new wardrobe sooner or later— it would not do for long to keep coasting on Silvanesti fashion.

Holding the gown up to her body in the full-length mirror, Sivanna didn't look displeased.
