Everything had to go swimmingly. She had to get every bit right, down to the sugar.
"Okay, let's start with"." She was eyeing the booklets of things to make and shook her head," No' If I let that go in first then it will be gone before everyone else will get to eat it?" Timora pursed her lips. She was not used to this, not at all.
Timora was the daughter of? bah' it didn't matter, well until it came to what she was planning on doing after Guill got back from vacation. She was going to make sure that Guill was "avenged?" In other words Timi was going to go to her mother about some certain Virgin and other various things.
She clicked her tongue for a moment, knowing all too well that Guill wanted to help as well. But a few things had to be made by her and her alone at first. That was why she had chose the kitchen at the hall to do most of her work, granted there were other kitchens she could go to.
Aja was hunting the boar and Padriq was cleaning it, she did not have to worry about that at all, well" At least yet. She knew that it would be a lot of food to cook, but Guill cooked a lot on a daily basis, why couldn't she. With a tap of her chin she went to thinking about what was about to be cooked. Okay' She could do this.
"For Guill." Her sleeves rolled up and her determination growing, little did she know that somewhere May was watching her sister work hard.
"Gnocchi alla Romana," She spoke as if the words were fluent and more of a dance upon her lips. She turned her gaze over the recipe before nodding:
" 3 cups milk " 1 teaspoon salt " 6 tablespoons butter plus 2 tablespoons " 1 cup semolina, quick cooking or finely ground cornmeal " 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano, plus 1/2 cup " 4 egg yolks " 1/4 pound taleggio, cut into chunks
Milk was measured out, along with the other ingredients. Together this would form some sort of cheese biscuit. Licking her lips she shook her head at the product being formed before her, soon all parts would be put together and the item put in the oven.
Even the timer was set, which was a new device for Timi. So far, so good. At least she was putting as much effort into this as she could. Tray after tray was placed in the oven until it was full of the recipe at hand. Cooking one thing at a time was the best thing for Timi to do. The Gnocchi would make it out of the oven alive and edible. Thank goodness.
The next recipe however was skipped over," Nope" Guill can make it.? Was all she said. The recipe looked horrifying.
