The wedding ceremony of Rachael Wynter and Roderick Douglas is to be held in a secluded grove of the Southern Glen on 20 May 2012 and 9PM RST.

A wrought iron archway has been set up at the entrance to welcome guest to the wedding and the grove. A stone pathway, marked with candles, leads to a raised gazoo where the couple will be joined in marriage. Additional ambient lighting has been added. Floral plants grow in and have been added to the grove for decorative purposes, guests with allergies are requested to prepare accordingly for your own comfort. Padded chairs have been set up on either side of the path.

Since Mr. Douglas observes Catholic traditions, communion will be offered, by a priest, during the ceremony for those that observe similar customs. The altar has been draped with the Douglas tartan, a floral arrangement of white roses, white snapdragon, waxflower, Italian ruscus and curly willow as well as unity candles. The civil part of the ceremony will be conducted by Colleen MacLeod-Fenner, Justice of the Peace for Rhydin.

After the ceremony, food and beverages will available in a tent and dining area outside of the grove itself.

Family and friends of the couple, including fellow duelists, are invited to attend.

Food and beverage tent The interior features lighted ceiling fans. The tent will will be open immediately following the ceremony for dinner and dancing. Specially made hanging baskets of roses will double as ambient lighting. There will be an open bar, with a nexus wide selection of drinks, for guests to enjoy. A table has been set up with the guest book and party favors. Entertainment: There will be a bagpiper and fiddler on hand as requested by the groom. If we can get a Dee Jay in the door in time, we'll do that, too! A fireworks display will be set off later in the night.

The groom will be in his freshly pressed blue-and-green Douglas tartan kilt. A pair of Sgian-dubh reside in his knee-high black boots of soft leather buckled with silver. Twin braids of raven black hair will be worn at his temples.
