Nuzzling her beloved as he rested, soon she slid through the lair, checking upon those remaining. The youngest soon fed, she slid through the falls, resting upon her favored perch, watching over their territory.

*With his mate gone from bed, he couldn't stay asleep, and yawned and stretched. He knew where his mate was, of course. Her favorite resting spot. He made his way through the falls and up to her perch, looking out over their territory.* "Such a lovely view.....No matter how many times I see it, I can never fail to be awed by such a lovely sight."
