As darkness deepened, the sun setting over the ocean and bringing quiet night, Lucius knocked on the door to the room that had been given to her, when she needed a place to stay and wanted to be away from Onyx House.
The door swung open quite suddenly and she looked up at him, hair still a bit damp from a recent bath and faintly flushed, her silvery violet eyes shimmering with a hint of a feverish light. Oh and yes that aura flashing with colors not fully her own. "Luc! Hi ya. What's up?"
Lucius was not happy with that at all, the fluctuations easy for him to see, and undoubtedly to Fiona also. But, he had promised to let her try without hindrance. This night, he carried a large basket in his hand. "Good evening Tasha. Do you have a minute?" He asked quietly, while that look in her eye had a brow raising a tad. "Oh sure. Was just gonna head out in a bit." Pulling the door open further Tasha stepped back letting him inside her room and padded barefoot towards the warming hearth, but did look at that basket curiously. "What's in the basket?"
"This." Holding it, almost as though it was for the first time, and a soft chuckle as he moved near her, setting the basket down on the floor. "It's something for you."
"For me huh?" Her face lit up with a giggle as she moved to kneel down beside the container and small deft hands moving to open it. "You didn't have to get me anything Luc. You do plenty already ya know." Tasha stated with her voice colored by giggles.
As the small purple blanket was pulled back, a black nose appeared, followed by gray eyes going to green over a muzzle sure to grow long, if nothing else to fit the two canines jutting on either side.
Tasha gave a startled blink, as she had been expecting something like cookies, she reached out to touch what ever it was, fingers brushing against the nose and then giggles. "Ooh!"
As the rest was revealed, a puppy, though already as large as a near-adult cat, gray-black of fur, with a white streak running from it's nose to the back of it's neck. Large paws scrabbled to the top of the basket as it looked up at her, tongue lapping at her fingertips.
Giggling, Tasha scooped it up into her arms, cradling the bundle of fur as it were a child and then peered up at Luc, her overly bright violet eyes dancing. "OOh! He's cute! Does he have a name" Where did he come from?"
