Howe and Dewey come sauntering down the street heading in the direction of the inn. Howe's expression is thunderous and angry as he speaks in low tones to his partner. "Impotent. *Impotent*! That is the exact word, Dewey. We have to *do* something. And I mean something *big*!"
Elessaria stands outside on the porch of the Red Dragon Inn, her fingertips picking idly at the railing, but her gaze swiftly moves to the arriving pair of men.
In the doorway of the inn, Kina Kitty impishly grabs her mate and gives him a sexy kiss, before running to the carriage. Her mate, Falcon chuckles, and heads out behind her, a big grin on his face as he lets the door slip out of his hand and shut behind them.
The silver wolf's head cane tapped along the roughened cobbles, Dewey nodding his head at his partner's rising rage. One hand lifted, fingers stroked along the thick salt and pepper mustache, his voice holding a gruesome edge. "I agree, partner. Something most emphatic must be done. We must show our hand so there is no mistake what we hold."
Elessaria arches a delicate golden brow, recognizing the foul aura she senses even through her shields....the flames flickering reflexively deep within her eyes.
Shea's walk had ended up here before the Red Dragon. She shifted her hands through her hair pushing the green hood of her cloak as jade hues took in the inn light and finely tuned Elven ears took in the hum of the commons beyond.
"And soon enough..." The senior partner's, Dewey, voice lowers for his fellow partner to hear alone. "We will have all we need to do whatever, whenever we wish with this blasted realm and those beyond."
Shea looks around, noticing that there are patrons out front and upon the porch, jade hues looked past them as she makes her way up the porch stairs.
Elessaria steps back slightly, her head canting as a vague uneasiness shivers down her spine.
"Yes!" Howe hisses in response. In his opinion, it is about time too. They've let the locals get the best of them long enough. Pay back time! And he knows just where to begin. His voice is a low sibilant sound, meant to be kept from prying ears. "I have an idea, partner. If you are willing to hear the deal, I can set things up for Sunday."
The gleeful gleam in Howe's beady eyes should be enough to clue Dewey in; it's a dozy alright, and Dewey may find it right up their alley.
"Don't want to say too much." Beady eyes dart around before landing once more on his partner. "Big ears, big eyes, they are all around."
Shea gives the door a nudge and slips inside, occupied with her thoughts and paying no heed to the drama unfolding out front.
Elessaria wrinkles her delicate nose just slightly in distaste while continuing to eavesdrop on the hatful pair.
"I am most willing and anxious to hear your words on this deal, Screwham. And, yes, you are most right. This bloody burg has far too many nosy inhabitants." Dewey comments in response to his partner. If anyone can tell it would be Howe, the closest to Dewey of the three. Dewey's eyes radiated a red glow briefly, a sure sign that the whole of the situation is definitely getting to him.
Howe pauses, lifting his head as an animal might to scent their territory. And there on the wind, what do you know" Elf on the porch! Howe's smile twists in to a hate-filled smirk as he notches his head in the direction of the inn. "You smell that, partner??
